Objective The Commission shall advise and assist the Board of Supervisors on matters relating to veterans and their families as may pertain to meeting their needs for veteran's benefits, housing, food; shelter, transportation, and employment.

Qualifications Veteran must be honorably discharged from the military service; be a registered voter of the County of Alameda; all qualifying requirements must be verified by the organizations they represent and by the nominating committee.
