No use shall be permitted in an M-1 district, which is characterized by any of the detrimental effects specified in the performance standards of this title for M-P districts as set forth in Section 17.42.020. Except that in an M-1 district Section 17.42.020A shall apply to noise or vibration discernible at a lot line separating the premises from an abutting R district. (Prior gen. code § 8-51.8)
