Any building for which a valid building permit has been issued prior to the time of any amendment of this title, may be completed and used in accordance with the approved plans; provided, that construction is diligently prosecuted to completion. Every such building shall thereafter be deemed to be a lawfully existing building and Section 17.52.610 of this chapter shall apply. (Prior gen. code § 8-62.2)
