The clerk of the board of supervisors shall indicate upon every notice of appeal received pursuant to Section 17.54.670 the date upon which it was filed, and shall forthwith transmit a copy thereof to the planning department. The planning department shall immediately make available to the board all of the documents constituting the record upon which the action appealed was taken. (Prior gen. code § 8-102.1)
