Section 902.2.1.1 (Building Height) is added to this code to read:

    When the building or facility is greater than 2 stories in height, or exceeds 35 feet in height, the fire access road shall also run within 40 feet along one side of the building or facility, as approved by the Fire Chief.

     Sections 902.2.4.1.1 and 902.2.4.1.2 are added to this code to read:

     902.2.4.1.1 (Fire Lane) All fire access roadways whether public or privately owned, shall be designated as Fire Lanes.

     902.2.4.1.2 (Obstructions) The Fire Chief may require, remove, or cause to be removed any obstruction of a fire access road or designated fire lane, including but not limited to the towing of vehicles, at the expense of the responsible party or property owner.
