Section 6.04.200 Appendix II-A— Suppression and Control of Hazardous Fire Areas, Section 25— Fire Hazard Severity Zones amended.

     Section 25 (Fire Hazard Severity Zones) of Appendix II-A is added to read:

     Section 25— Fire Hazard Severity Zones
    The areas designated as Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zones by the California Department of Fire Protection shall be identified on a base map. Said zones shall be identified on the map specifically as those that are located on property designated as Urban Wildland Interface and within a Local Responsibility Area. The map shall be on file with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, as well as, available at the local Fire Department’ s Fire Prevention Bureau and the Alameda County Planning Department.
     25.1 Requirements. The property that borders the State Responsibility Area and is designated as Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zone shall meet the established minimum fire protection requirements set forth by the State of California Structure and Space Defensibility and of this Code.
