The ordinance codified in this chapter is adopted by the county of Alameda to improve the general appearance and cleanliness of substandard private property in unincorporated Alameda County to the general standard, written or unwritten, of the neighborhood in which the property is situated, and to cause the swift abatement of blight; provided, however, that this chapter does not apply to the portions of unincorporated Alameda County regulated by Chapter 6.65 infra.
