NOTICE OF FEE INCREASE
Effective January 1, 2019
Due to the passage of Assembly Bill 1053, Chapter 402, on September 8, 2011, the fees for certified copies of birth, death and fetal death certificates will increase by $2.00. It requires the base fee to be adjusted annually pursuant to a method specified in Health and Safety Code 100425 and 100430.
Assembly Bill 110, Chapter 20, Statutes of 2013, will increase the fees for certified copies of birth, death and fetal death certificates by a fee increase of $2.00. This bill also increased the vitals and health trust fund fee. This fee for certified copies of birth, death, marriage certificates, confidential marriage certificates and marriage licenses will increase by an additional $1.00. These annual fee adjustments are intended to more accurately reflect the cost of services rendered.
