Collage of photos of various locations in district with a photo of Supervisor Richard Valle, District 2.

District Two is located in the heart of Alameda County, encompassing the communities of Hayward, Union City, Newark and portions of Fremont and Sunol. District Two is home to important employment and education centers as well as vibrant and diverse neighborhoods.

It is important that county residents know what services the county provides and have access to those resources. The county provides many services, including providing health care and mental health services, providing social services and safety net programs, maintaining flood control channels, providing court services, conducting elections and assessing and collecting property taxes. More information on county departments can be found here.

As your Supervisor, I am committed to being accessible to the community that I have called home for over 5 decades. Our office will continue to work with residents, businesses, and other stakeholders to address the various issues our communities face. Please use this website to communicate with our office, locate county resources and to contact us.
