Ashland Joint Sub-Area

Priority Focus:
The highest priority programs identified for the next five year period are intended to revitalize the East 14th Street / Mission Boulevard corridor and the surrounding Ashland and Cherryland neighborhoods. To accomplish this revitalization goal, the following programs and projects are proposed for the next five years:

implementation of the East 14th Street / Mission Boulevard Master Plan which includes streetscape improvements, undergrounding of utilities, street lighting, and utility conversions for businesses;
participate in the development of a mixed-use, mixed-income, high density home-ownership project; and
historic preservation of the San Lorenzo Pioneer Cemetery.

Located primarily along E 14th St from 150th to 580 / 238 Fwy interchange, includes Mission Blvd thru Cherryland.
