Alameda County Child Care Planning Council
Needs Assessment/Strategic Planning Committee

Introduction: The State Department of Education mandates that the Planning Council conduct a periodic child care needs assessment and comprehensive child care strategic plan in every county. The last needs assessment was completed in February 2002. Please click here to view this report.

Committee Members:

This Committee is not currently meeting, but will reconvene in Fall 2004 to guide the coordination of a new strategic plan based on our most recent needs assessment and other relevant data. The Committee also disseminates information regarding other child care research projects in the County.
