The General Services Agency's (GSA) Human Resources division is responsible for the agency's personnel management. This responsibility includes adherence to the Alameda County Civil Service Rules, Administrative Code, County Charter, and procedures in the Consolidated Personnel Procedure Manual. Responsibities include managing the agency's employee relations, conducting job analysis, recruiting and conducting examinations for positions unique to GSA, conducting employment interviews, managing the agency's employee evaluation program, managing agency Workers' Compensation cases, coordinating agency training, monitoring compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, developing the agency's affirmative action report and goals and coordinating with Human Resource Services (HRS) regarding any GSA labor issues including contract negotiations, grievances and meet and confer sessions.
