Bilingual Poll Workers

word vote filled with the word vote in other languages

Alameda County is one of the most culturally diverse Counties in the State California. To support and promote the democratic process for our targeted language communities, the Alameda County Registrar of Voters provides bilingual language assistance for eight languages who are fluent in English and: Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin), Hindi, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Spanish, Tagalog, and Vietnamese.

California Assembly Bill 817, Legal Permanent Residents (Green Card Holders) may serve as a Poll Worker on Election Day.

If you speak any of the following languages and are interested in volunteering for your community, then become a Bilingual Poll Worker to assist voters with language needs on Election Day.
