County Poll Worker Program

As a way of better enriching and continuing community relations within Alameda County, the Registrar of Voters promotes County Employees to serve on Election Day as poll workers. County Employees are especially needed as a crucial bridge for voters within Alameda County whose primary language is not English. Our eight supported languages are; Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) Hindi, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Spanish, Tagalog, and Vietnamese.

Alameda County Employees are also highly encouraged to participate at Return Centers on Election night as Ballot Drivers, Captains, Assistant Captains, and Helpers to ensure the proper return of ballots and key assets.
