As Program Assistant, Marissa Caldwell supports ALL IN’s healthcare strategies work, such as managing the creation of the recently released toolkit to help clinics establish Food as Medicine programs. Marissa graduated from Wellesley College in 2018 with a B.A. in Economics. During her undergraduate years, she interned at ALL IN, worked as a research assistant at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), and wrote an honors thesis in health economics. Through her interest in the intersection of behavioral economics and medicine, she is enthusiastic about ALL IN’s focus on community-based work to improve the health of Alameda County children and families. Marissa splits her time between ALL IN and UCSF Health, where she is a medical scribe. She is passionate about strengthening the connection between communities and healthcare, especially by finding ways to address the social determinants of health.
