Trainings
All agencies which receive HUD Homeless Assistance Funding must add client data to the Alameda County Homeless Management Information System (ACHMIS) database. Access to the database requires training, and access is only granted to those who have completed the training programs:
- Privacy & Security Certification Training - duration 2 hours:
Agency staff members who collect or handle client information are required to complete Privacy and Security Certification training. - Clarity Human Services (Database) Training - duration 4 hours:
Staff members who will be entering client data into the ACHMIS database are also required to complete 4 hour Clarity Human Services Training.- *pre-requisite: completion of Privacy and Security Certification training
Agency HMIS Leads and/or Supervisors are responsible for enrolling staff members in ACHMIS training classes. It is encouraged that requests for enrollment occur at least two weeks prior to the desired class date.
