The CFC is a collaborative effort between Alameda County Supervisor Keith Carson and faith organizations throughout the area. The goal of the organization is to work with populations that have been traditionally underserved in their efforts to find employment.

The CFC contains four "hub zones," North/West Oakland, Berekely/Albany, Park/Montclair and East Oakland. Each hub has a lead faith organization responsible for dissemination information about employment opportunities and coordinating with other faith organizations within their hub.

Members of the CFC are working with numerous local businesses and government agencies which has allowed us to develop an extensive database of available jobs. Employers who are involved in the coalition include:
