Go Warriors!

We Support Our Golden State Warriors

Once again, Alameda County is lighting up its iconic Rene C. Davidson Courthouse in Oakland in blue and gold to support the Golden State Warriors as the team makes its push for a place in the National Basketball Association Finals for the fourth year in a row.

In addition to the bold LED exterior lighting at the granite courthouse at 1225 Fallon Street, large blue and gold banners bearing the slogan, "Strength in Numbers" will soon adorn several buildings in and around the Alameda County complex near Oakland's Lake Merritt and other sites visible from Interstate 880.

"Our Rene C. Davidson Courthouse sits right on Lake Merritt, which is a stunning location for us to display our unabashed allegiance to the Warriors' blue and gold," said Wilma Chan, President of the Alameda County Board of Supervisors.

Added Susan S. Muranishi, Alameda County Administrator: "As the Warriors try to reach the NBA Finals for the fourth straight year, we know the time is right to show the world how deeply we support our hometown team."
