Educational Subcommittee Workplan

Purpose: To identify, evaluate and pursue opportunities for educational exchange between Alameda County and Taoyuan County and to recommend to the Association those educational opportunities most appropriately promoted by the Association.

2000-01 Workplan

1. Identify, research, and summarize existing educational exchange programs for Alameda County exchange with Taoyuan County, including selection criteria and financial requirements for applicants.
   
   
2. Evaluate and identify need, if any, for support from the Association (e.g., scholarship or other financial support, host families, additional outreach, etc).
   
   
3. Recommend an education exchange activity for consideration and funding by the Association.
