Farmer's Market

There are presently twenty Certified Farmer's Markets in Alameda County. Fourteen operate year round while the rest are open seasonally. We routinely inspect these markets for compliance with direct marketing regulations and quality requirements. Growers selling at the market are all certified producers and their farms and production have been verified. The regulations were established to allow growers to sell their produce and agricultural products, directly to consumers without the added expense of shipping containers, size requirements, or commercial packaging.
