Steering Committee
Alameda County launched a county-wide Steering Committee for the proposed Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) program in June 2015. The Steering Committee advises the County Board of Supervisors and Community Development Agency (CDA) staff during the entire formation process on key aspects of the program's development. The Committee may continue in that role if the County and its cities decide that a CCA program is viable and can deliver significant benefits to residents and businesses.
The CCA Steering Committee members are made up of both experts and stakeholders from across Alameda County. It provides a forum through which interested parties and the public can express their views.
The Steering Committee generally meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 7 pm at the Castro Valley Library. The public is encouraged to attend.
This web page will have additional instructions, materials and meeting agendas for Steering Committee members as they become available. Additions to this web page will be announced on the CCA e-mailing list so please sign up for updates here.
