Thank you to everyone who has taken time to review the Housing Element Draft and send staff comments! The comment period on the first Housing Element Draft ended on September 21, 2023. Staff submitted the draft to HCD on October 6, 2023 and expect to receive comments on the draft at the end of 2023.
State HCD will accept written comments during the first 30 days of the 90-day review period. You can email your comments for state consideration to HousingElements@hcd.ca.gov. For more information about this process, see here.
