Multi Family Rental Reports

Annual Compliance Reports

Alameda County Housing and Community Development Department (HCD) has provided Federal, State, and Local development funding to 80+ rent restricted affordable housing developments. In order to ensure ongoing compliance, HCD requires that annual reports be submitted. HCD has worked with all of the cities in Alameda County, with Contra Costa County and with the City of Richmond to develop these reports. These reports should be standard across the East Bay to ensure ease of use and consistency across jurisdictions.

There are two separate Excel spreadsheets that must be completed. The first is the Annual Financial Report and the second is the Annual Compliance Report. The Annual Financial Report uses the same chart of accounts and many of the same reporting requirements as State.

Reports are due to HCD by July 30th of each year. If projects are on a calendar year, they should report on the prior year, while projects on a Fiscal Year should report on the period of July 1 -June 30th. Annual Audits may be sent later for Fiscal Year projects.
